Backend Developer

Position Summary

We’re seeking a skilled Senior Backend Developer to drive the evolution of Sasonix. You’ll collaborate with designers, frontend engineers, and product teams to create robust, scalable, and efficient server-side applications. What You’ll Be Doing

• Design and implement high-performance, scalable backend services using modern technologies

• Collaborate with frontend developers to ensure seamless integration of APIs and data flow

• Optimize database performance and manage data storage solutions

• Enhance platform functionality with thoughtful architecture and efficient algorithms

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

• Ensure application security, scalability, and reliability

• Participate in code reviews, share best practices, and help establish our backend standards

• Identify backend issues and propose effective solutions to enhance overall system performance.

What We’re Seeking

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development

• Strong expertise in Node.js, Express, and database management systems

• Solid understanding of API design and microservices architecture

• Experience building scalable applications or complex backend systems

• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and understanding of software development principles

• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams

• Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with cloud services (AWS, Azure)

• Experience with performance monitoring tools

• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Frontend experience with React is a plus

• Contributions to open-source projects.
